Child Care Assistance Program, CCAP
The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides financial assistance to low-income families while they are working or attending school. The Louisiana Department of Education oversees the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to help all families access high-quality child care for their children.

Parish Seats Program
Ascension Ready Start Network has been granted funds to provide the Parish Seats Program. These funds are made available through a partnership with the Ascension Parish Government and the ECE Fund and are limited each year. The Parish Seats Program was created to support families struggling to pay for child care.
- Families who apply are determined eligible based on income and work hours/school hours. Seats are limited.
- Families must reapply each year
- Birth to three years old
- Parents must meet the work/school participation requirements defined by CCAP
- For children ages Birth to 3 years old attending a qualifying Child Care / Early Learning Center from our list of participating centers within our network
